Recently I came across following Chinese saying: 站得高,看得远(zhàn de gāo, kàn de yuǎn). It literally means to “stand tall and see far”. Metaphorically used it indicates to “have a wide view and a long-term vision”.

I personally have two take-aways from this saying when applying it to Career Coaching:
⭐️ Have a Vision: No matter as a company or individual, having a Vision for the next 5 to 10 years can be your guiding North Star.
🗻 Set an Everest Goal: Sometimes a goal appears to be big and non-achievable. It can become relatively small though, if you manage to think beyond and consider it to be a sub-goal only (a first base camp so to say) on your way to achieve an even bigger goal (the top of the Mount Everest).
Maybe this saying will inspire you as much as it inspired me.
With this being said: If you are thinking about your future career “stand tall and see far”.
